How does the app connect to my TV?
Your iPhone and TV need to be connected to the same local Wi-Fi network. The app scans the network, finds compatible Android TV or Google TV devices, and pairs with the selected device.
Do I need to install anything on my TV?
Usually no. Supported Android TV and Google TV devices can be discovered over the local network without installing a companion app on the TV.
Can I use this app if I lost my original remote?
Yes, as long as your TV is already connected to Wi-Fi and supports network control. If the TV is offline, you may need the physical TV buttons for the first setup step.
Can I use it away from home?
No. The app works on your local network. Your iPhone and TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
Can I use it without Wi-Fi or with mobile data only?
No. The app requires local Wi-Fi discovery and control. Mobile data by itself cannot reach your TV on the home network.
Why can't the app find my TV?
Confirm that both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, disable VPN while scanning, avoid guest networks, and restart the TV and router if discovery fails.
Is my data safe?
The remote commands are sent over your local network. The app does not require an account to control your TV.
